Comparative Agility™ is a collaboration formed in June 2007 between Mike Cohn of Mountain Goat Software and Kenny Rubin of Innolution.
The goal of Comparative Agility™ is to provide the industry-standard agility assessment instrument that will enable companies and projects to compare their use of Agility against other companies to help determine actionable next steps in their own agile improvement efforts.

Mike Cohn is the founder of Mountain Goat Software. Mike specializes in helping companies adopt and improve their use of agile processes and techniques to build extremely high performance development organizations. He is the author of Agile Estimating and Planning and User Stories Applied for Agile Software Development, as well as books on Java and C++ programming. With more than 20 years of experience, Mike has previously been a technology executive in companies of various sizes, from startup to Fortune 40. He has also written articles for Better Software, IEEE Computer, Software Test and Quality Engineering, Agile Times, Cutter IT Journal, and the C++ Users' Journal. Mike is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and was a founder of both the Agile Alliance and the Scrum Alliance. Kenny Rubin is the founder of Innolution, a company that provides Agile and Scrum-related training and coaching. Kenny has succeeded as a developer, product owner, and ScrumMaster on numerous Agile and Scrum development projects. Also, he has held numerous executive management roles including: CEO, COO, VP of Engineering, VP of Product Management and VP of Professional Services. Kenny is a Certified Scrum Trainer and has trained over 12,000 people on Agile/Scrum, Smalltalk development, managing object-oriented projects, and transition management. He has coached over 200 companies ranging from startups to Fortune 10. Kenny is the former Managing Director of the Scrum Alliance, a 38,000 member organization focused on the world-wide adoption of Scrum.
